ESM-installer installs add-ins, workshops and other tools from outlook-stuff.com in a comfortable way.
By means of the installer you install all downloads that are available on outlook-stuff.com, may it be add-ins, workshops or other tools.
ESM-Installer
On the left hand side you can see several downloads summarized in groups. On the right hand side there is a window with descriptions. Click on an area in the left window to get the corresponding description. The description will be loaded live from the internet. Also the selected products will be downloaded from the web during installation process.
If you want to install add-ins (from the group Software) on several computer and not want to download files from the internet every time, you can additionally install the setup files. Please keep in mind that installation files of add-ins are not executable by themselves. Shared files (SharedFiles.exe in the program subdirectory \Setup) are always necessary for the installation.
If you want to install e.g. the program CustomBirthdays on an additional computer, please copy the files SharedFiles.exe and CustomBirthdays.exe from the directory Setup onto the harddisk of the additional computer and then start the setup processes individually. The chronological order is irrelevant, but both setups should have been completed before you start Outlook®.
Shared Files (SharedFiles.exe) have to be installed only once per computer, no matter how many and what kind of add-ins from outlook-stuff.com you are going to install in the future.
Notice: Due to clarity reasons add-ins, workshops and tools that are installed with the installer are not shown individually in the system control. Instead you'll find there the entry ESM-Tools. With the available buttons you can change the installation (maintenance mode) or completely remove it. The complete uninstallation can also be chosen by going to: start -> Programs -> ESM-Tools -> Uninstall
For the maintenance mode choose: start -> Programs -> ESM-Tools -> Change:

Here you have the possibility to add or remove single add-ins, workshops or tools. By means of the option Install again you can quickly reinstall add-ins without the necessity of uninstalling them before. If setup files haven't been downloaded these files will be downloaded automatically. Your program settings will remain after reinstallation.
With the option New Versions (only visible when checkbox Install again is checked) you make sure the installer downloads the setup files again even if they exists in the setup directory.
If you want to uninstall all programs completely, please don't choose the maintenance mode but the possibility described above for the complete uninstallation. Alternatively scrap (including installer and shared files) will remain on your computer.
Notice: The installer is incompatible with older software versions. That's the reason why older versions have to be uninstalled before using the installer. Starting with the following versions the programs are recognized from and accepted by the installer:
