If you rename or delete user defined fields (only Pro version), these fields will also be deleted from the folders as long as single contacts are not highlighted.

Due to technical reasons Outlook® registers changes of folder fields only after rebooting the program (Outlook®). Sometimes it's enough to change the current folder, but by rebooting you can be sure.
