How can distlists be sorted by lastnames?

The display of the names in dist lists depends on the contact field Display As below the field e-mail address.

When creating a new contact Outlook® generates this field always in the way like First name Middle name Last name Suffix (e-mail address). This is independent from any settings in the contact options. The contact options are only to change the fields Name and File As.

To sort dist lists by last name please do like the following description:

• Choose on the register Processing the Format Last, First
• On the tab Settings activate Change field "Display as" (default without comma and without title)
• Now run the program to process the desired contacts (see tab Processing -> Selection)
• After that you have to open your dist lists and click on the button Update Now
