Which numbers can be formatted?

FormatNumbers is able to convert numbers from any country.

Formats with a seperate area code (e. g. +49 (89) 12345678) needs to have the area code of the number implemented in the program. The following area codes are implemented:

  1. Ausria (+43)
  2. Australia (+61) - Version 7.1.3 and higher
  3. Belgium (+32)
  4. Brazil (+55)
  5. Bulgaria (+359)
  6. China (+86)
  7. Egypt (+20)
  8. Finland (+358)
  9. France (+33)
  10. Germany (+49)
  11. Great Britian (+44)
  12. Greece (+30)
  13. Hungary (+36)
  14. India (+91)
  15. Israel (+972)
  16. Italy (+39)
  17. Japan (+81)
  18. Netherlands (+31)
  19. North Korea (+850)
  20. Poland (+48)
  21. Portugal (+351)
  22. Romania (+40)
  23. Russia (+7)
  24. Schweden (+46)
  25. Schwitzerland (+41)
  26. Spain (+34)
  27. South Afrika (+27)
  28. South Korea (+82)
  29. Thailand (+66)
  30. Turkey (+90)
  31. Uganda (+256) - Version 7.1.1 and higher
  32. USA/Canada (+1)

Formats without a seperate area code (e. g. +498912345678) are also convertable if the area codes are not in the program implemented. But if you have numbers converted in such a format from countries which are not yet implemented it is not easy to reformat them into a format with seperate area codes. Therefore the codes has to be added to the program by the developer (normally not a problem) or by you with the help of the user defined area codes setting in the program (see help).

Please note that some countries does not have area code, e. g. Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Norway, Denmark, Singapur.
